TexInspec, Inc. (“TexInspec,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our inspection services, and our communications with you.
Information we collect
- Contact information you provide — name, mailing address, email address, and phone number — when you request or schedule an inspection, work with us as an inspector or vendor, or contact us.
- Inspection and property information related to the services you request.
- Payment information, which is processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
- Website usage information, such as pages visited and device/browser data, collected through cookies and analytics when you use our website.
How we use your information
- To schedule, perform, and deliver inspections and reports.
- To communicate with you about your inspection or working relationship, including by phone, email, and text message.
- To operate, maintain, and improve our services and website.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
SMS / text messaging
When you provide your mobile number and consent to receive text messages from TexInspec, we use it to send the messages you agreed to receive — operational and transactional messages such as scheduling, appointment confirmations, arrival windows, report delivery, and (for inspectors) job assignments and reminders, and, where you have consented, occasional informational or promotional messages about TexInspec services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
Your mobile opt-in and SMS consent are never shared. No mobile information — including the phone number you provide for text messaging and your consent to receive texts — will be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This SMS carve-out applies regardless of any other authorization described elsewhere in this policy, including the third-party service provider authorization below.
Third-party service provider (TPSP) authorization
From time to time TexInspec may tell you about optional value-added services offered by third parties, such as home-warranty or home-security providers. We do not sell, rent, or share the mobile number or SMS consent you provide for text messaging with any third party, and we do not share any phone number you give us with third parties for their own marketing. If you choose to accept a third-party offer, we share only the information needed to connect you, and only at your request. You may ask us in writing at any time not to share your contact information with any third party.
Service providers we use to operate
We use trusted service providers — such as payment processors, our customer-relationship and messaging platform, and website hosting — solely to help us provide our services. These providers are permitted to use your information only as needed to perform services for us and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
